VINCENT HOOPER Most recently performed in the critically acclaimed Heathers- The Musical at the Hayes theatre, playing the role of Ram Sweeny and Rams Dad. Previously he played John in Vic Theatre Company’s Loving Repeating. Vincent toured Australia in the GFO production of The Rocky Horror Show, where he played a Phantom and was understudy to Riff Raff, Rocky, Frank N Furter, Brad, Eddie and Dr Scott
Vincent was the Freddie understudy in Sydney’s Dirty Rotten Scoundrels directed by Roger Hodgman, and was thrilled to have the opportunity to go on as the Steve Martin role.
He graduated with a BA in Music Theatre from WAAPA, where he was lucky to play the title role in Bat Boy- The Musical.
Other professional credits include The Tempest as a rock star Ariel, the Soldier in LaChiusa’s Hello Again, the romantic lead in Sondheim’s Putting it Together, Michael in William Finn’s Elegies, Blowing Whistles and Bison for Focus Theatre Company and the flamboyant Joey in the Australian premiere of Postnuptials.
Vincent recently filmed a small role for Neighbours, and has toured Australia with Monkey Baa’s Milli Jack and the Dancing Cat and The Twink and the Showgirl with Phil Scott as well as performing as a lead singer on Royal Caribbean Cruise lines and a member of the Augmented chorus in the WA Opera Company.
Vincent performed his one man show Stolen Treasures at His Majesty’s theatre in Perth, to coincide with the release of his album In Flight.
